The League of Women Voters plays a vital role in promoting democracy through voter registration and education. This survey explores your organization's interest in offering an optional educational tool to help newly registered voters learn about the stated purposes of the U.S. Constitution, as outlined in its Preamble (e.g., "to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty").


Please note: Voters are not required to have any knowledge of the Constitution to register or vote—this is a fundamental principle of inclusive democracy.
